PAYMENT, CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY

PLEASE READ THE STATEMENT CAREFULLY. IF YOU [USER] DO NOT WISH TO BE BOUND BY THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS MENTIONED HEREIN, KINDLY REFRAIN FROM ACCESSING THE WEB SITE OR AVAILING OUR SERVICES THEREIN. ANY PAYMENTS MADE ON THIS SITE SHALL BE DEEMED TO BE AN ACCEPTANCE OF THIS POLICY.

Your better understanding of the ongoing processes during a transaction is important to avert failures or dropped transaction.

In most cases, No refund will be granted once the payment is done. However, exceptions may be made based on the following circumstances:


For online payments, it is important to note the transaction number and order no. for future reference and request for any type of Refund, for whatsoever reason, will be at the sole discretion of the School.

We accept the following payment methods:

1)      Credit Cards with MasterCard or Visa branding.

2)      Debit Cards

3)      International Debit Cards with Visa or MasterCard branding.

4)      Net Banking Payment.

5)      Rupay Cards.

6)      UPI.

7)      Wallets / EMI & Commercial Cards Not Supported.

 

You will not be asked to provide your online banking user name or password to be revealed ("Account Access Data"). Institution does not want any information regarding your Account Access Data and you agree not to provide us with your Account Access Data.

Institution has no obligation to issue refunds if you cannot provide us with full and accurate information required to complete the refund or credit; or the refund request has already been processed through our payment gateway but has not yet applied to the originating source of the payment; or the refund request directs Institution to issue the refund to a different financial institution than the source where the original payment was received; or Institution did not receive the payment for which the refund request is made due to force majeure or other causes beyond our direct control. Refunds requiring special handling may result in a delayed return of the funds.

In the event a refund cannot be handled within standard refund protocols or to process a refund after 90 days, you may be asked to supply additional information and to provide documentation of the original charge.

Information disclosed to Institution for the purposes of processing a customer refund will be protected in accordance with our current Privacy Policy.

Payment Gateway

Institution uses a third party payment gateway. The Payment gateway provides inter alia aggregate payment gateway solutions to the institution for collecting fees over the Internet. Payment gateway provides a single payment gateway solution to institution and facilitates the Institution in accepting online payments by their parents on their website or ERP or mobile application directed to the Payment gateway site or through Payment gateway IVR system. Using credit/ debit cards, net banking and various other acceptable modes of payment options provided by the Payment gateway.

Payment gateway integrated or adopted by the institution is a Payment Card Industry (PCI),  Data Security Standard (DSS) Certified payment gateway, and have implemented technical and organizational measures designed to secure your personal information from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration or disclosure. However, the Institution and Payment gateway cannot guarantee that unauthorized third parties will never be able to defeat those measures or use your personal information for improper purposes. You acknowledge that you provide your personal information at your own risk.

Payment Options

1. Online Credit / Debit Card/ UPI Payments

Visa, Master and UPI payments are processed through an online payment gateway system. You need not worry about your card information falling into the wrong hands because your bank will authorize the card transaction directly without any information passing through us. In approximately 25-30 seconds (depending on your internet connection) your bank will issue, using the online payment gateway, an authorization code and confirmation of completion of transaction.

2. Internet Banking

You can also pay for your Fees through net banking options and the amount will be automatically debited from your Bank account.

Transaction Confirmation

You should not take any action based on information on the website until you have received a confirmation of your transaction. In case of confirmations to be received by email, if you do not receive a confirmation of your transaction within the stipulated time period, first look into your “spam” or “junk” folder to verify that it has not been misdirected, and if still not found, please contact us on info@schoolbuddy.co.in 

Charges:

Transaction Charges are applicable in accordance with the RBI and NPCI norms. UPI payments do not carry any transaction charges as per government norms; But Platform charges or Technology charges are applicable as fixed by the service provider.

Platform as a service (PaaS) is a cloud computing model where a third-party provider delivers hardware and software tools to users over the internet.

Cancellation and Refund

1. In case of Fees:

The refund shall be processed within 10-30 working days from the date of the refund request or disputed transaction(s) with proper reason for refund claim, and subject to receipt of the refunds from the service provider. If we have received the payment through a valid credit card, then the same will be refunded to your credit card. Payments made using any other form of payment will be refunded by cheque within a maximum of 30 days from date of cancellation. All refunds shall be processed subject to processing of refunds by the respective payment service provider and RBI, NPCI norms only.

2. In case of Charge back:

A Charge back request is mostly raised in case if the merchant (Institution etc.) does not or fail to provide a proper service in terms of an information requested regarding payments already done, In such a case you can raise a Charge back with proper evidence to prove that you have not been provided with sufficient information regarding payment(s) already done. Before raising a charge back request it is vital that you approach your Merchant about your concern, and in case, if you still feel that the support offered is dis-satisfactory a Charge back option can be thought off. Normal dispute settlement in terms of charge-backs is between 30 to 90 Days in most rare cases up to 120 days.  A telephonic inquiry by the RBI shall be done to take stock of the facts revealed by the customer and the Merchant and based on the facts and proofs submitted the RBI shall decide the fate of refund, to which party to be dispersed.

Note: Before raising a Charge back request, Please contact your Merchant (Institution/School) who is entitled to resolve the matter at the earliest possible way. Also in case if you are not able to download a Fee Receipt or Confirmation after an online transaction, kindly inform the concerned Merchant (Institution), Do Not Raise or Contest a Charge Back Without Proper Confirmation or information from the Merchant (Institution/School).
